Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, we have seen the demand for hand sanitisers increase drastically in recent weeks as we are advised to wash and sanitise our hands regularly throughout the day.
This increased demand has led to many amazing companies across the country switching focus from their usual production of such things as gins, perfumes and fragrances to producing hand sanitiser.
One company that has increased its production of sanitiser is Hybrisan, an Advanced Antimicrobial Specialist based in Port Talbot. And we are thrilled to say that in addition to donating £1 for every online order we receive to the NHS, we have teamed up with Hybrisan and are donating 600 litres of hand sanitiser to those most in need.
Hybrisan’s WT Surface and Hand Sanitiser is a water-based sanitiser offering prolonged protection against bacteria and viruses. The product is effective against bacteria up 99.999% to BS EN 1276 and BS EN 13697. Effective against all enveloped viruses in <2 minutes to BS EN14476 including all coronaviruses and SARS-CoV2.
We are looking to distribute the sanitiser to vital organisations such as care homes, hospice's and food banks who can make much greater use of a bulk supply, rather than individuals.
In order to help as many organisations as we can, we have distributed the 600 litres of sanitiser into 120, 5 litre jerrycans.
We would like to invite organisations local to our Manchester depot to request one of the 5 litre jerry cans of sanitiser by contacting Kinsey at firstname.lastname@example.org. Once arranged, we will operate a strictly contactless collection service from our depots.
